Tide is the way the water in the ocean moves. Sometimes the water comes closer to the beach, and sometimes it goes farther away. It happens because of the moon and the sun.

For example, when the tide is high, the water comes up to where we build sandcastles on the beach. But when the tide is low, the water goes back and we can walk farther on the sand.
