Stance is the way you stand or position your body. For example, when you play soccer, you have a stance when you are ready to kick the ball. You can stand with your feet apart and your knees slightly bent. That's your stance!

Stance can also mean your opinion or point of view about something. For example, if you think chocolate ice cream is the best, that's your stance on ice cream flavors!
