reverse

Reverse (verb): When you go backwards instead of forwards. For example, if you are walking forward and then turn around and walk back the other way, you are going in reverse.

Reverse (noun): The opposite of something. For example, if you have a picture of a cat and you see the same picture but with the colors all switched around, that is a reverse of the original picture.
