Projection is when you show a picture or a movie on a big screen for everyone to see. For example, when we go to the movie theater, the movie is projected onto a big screen so that we can all watch it together.

Projection can also mean when you imagine or guess what might happen in the future. For example, if I see dark clouds in the sky, I might project that it will rain soon.
