Parental means something that has to do with parents. For example, when your mommy and daddy take care of you and make sure you are safe and happy, that is called parental love.

Parental can also mean something that parents do. Like when your mommy and daddy teach you how to brush your teeth or tie your shoes, that is called parental guidance.
