Mechanical means something that is related to machines or how things work. For example, when you wind up a toy car and it moves by itself, that's because of its mechanical parts.

Mechanical can also mean doing something without thinking or feeling. Like when you brush your teeth, you do it mechanically because you've done it so many times before.
