drift

Drift (noun): When something moves slowly without anyone pushing or pulling it. For example, when you blow on a dandelion and the little white seeds float away in the wind, that's called a drift.

Drift (verb): When something is carried along by the wind or water. For example, when you let go of a toy boat in a stream and it moves with the current, that's called drifting.
